ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST:

$500,000

PROJECT DESCRIPTION / ENGINEERING SCOPE OF WORK:

The project involves a hydrologic evaluation for the hydrologic reconnection of the F2 and F3 Lake Francis mosquito control impoundments with the Indian River Lagoon. Using the survey data for impoundments F2 and F3 provided by SES, a limited evaluation of existing impoundment hydrologic exchange capacity was conducted based on impoundment geometry and a simplified representation of tidal dynamics. This hydrologic evaluation was achieved utilizing mathematical calculations, field observations and HYDROLOGIC & HYDRAULIC modeling using icpr.
