PROJECT DESCRIPTION / ENGINEERING SCOPE OF WORK:

Scope of work included adding roof runoff drainage connections to existing catch basins for a 5 story office building located within a larger shopping center. The existing shopping center’s permits with the City of Sunrise, CBWCD and South Florida Water Management were updated. City of Sunrise required a permit modification of the existing permit. Central Broward Water Control District did not require a complete permit approval through the Board to add roof runoff connections, only a review by the District Manager. South Florida Water Management allowed for a No Notice General Permit and also did not require Board approval. A fire protection connection longer than 50 feet did require us to permit the fire line through Broward County HRS. Construction expected to commence in November 2007.
