Ross Engineering (Ross) is pleased to announce a new Marina, Seahaven SuperYacht Marina, is now finalizing construction and soon open for business in Dania Beach Florida. We are proud to have been the Civil Engineer of Record for this high profile MegaYacht marina located across the street from Dania Jai Alai on the intra-coastal fairly close to Broward County’s Port Everglades. Ross designed the onsite paving, grading, drainage, potable water, sanitary sewer, fire line protection, signage and marking for the new marina and admin building. Additionally, we designed roughly 1,700 linear feet of City water main including a 12 inch section in City right-of-way and an 8 inch diameter water main through our property to provide a needed loop for the City’s older Residential neighborhood that suffers from poor water pressure.
Permitting was with the SFWMD, Broward County EPD, USACE, FDEP and the City of Dania Beach. During the construction phase our engineers worked closely with the general contractor, owner’s rep and owners to ensure a speedy and timely close out of permits as each construction item was built as per our plans. This was Ross Engineering’s first Marina project and we are grateful for the opportunity to design.
