Ross Engineering is pleased to announce that the construction has successfully been completed for Tire Choice (Monro Inc, AKA Monro Muffler), the design was permitted through the City of Miami Beach and Miami Dade County. The existing property on Alton Road in Miami Beach was experiencing significant ponding of stormwater runoff. On some high tides the parking lot was almost unusable with customers getting out of expensive cars and walking through 6- 9 inches of water in the parking lot.
Our design team performed a drainage analysis and produced drainage design solutions to rectify the flooding. A combination of exfiltration trenches, regrading and a gravity drainage well were designed, permitted and constructed.
Additionally our company assisted with engineering inspection and certification during the construction phase. Our construction management team successfully assisted the contractor to complete the construction of this project in less than a month while keeping the business of Tire Choice operational.
